Daily Rosary Privacy Policy

Effective October 10, 2026

Scope

This policy explains how Daily Rosary handles information in the app and how this website works. It applies to the app available on the App Store and will be updated whenever the practices described here change.

Data collected

Daily Rosary does not require an account and does not collect, transmit or sell personal data. The app does not include advertising, analytics services, tracking, third-party crash reporting or a server of its own. Its privacy manifest declares that no data is collected and there is no tracking.

Data stored on the device

The progress of a prayer in progress, whether the reminder is on and its time, and the completion of the initial introduction are stored only on the device, in the app’s preferences. This information is not sent to the developer. Daily Rosary does not ask for prayer intentions or offer fields to enter other personal text.

Reminders and widgets

The daily reminder is optional. When it is turned on, the system asks for permission to send notifications and schedules a local notification at the chosen time. The time can be changed and the reminder can be turned off at any time. The widgets use system features and the content included in the app, without transmitting personal data to the developer.

Sharing with third parties

Because the app does not collect or transmit personal data, it does not share information with advertisers, analytics providers or data brokers.

Retention, deletion and your choices

Preferences remain on the device for as long as they are needed for the app to work. Finishing or discarding a prayer removes its progress. Turning off the reminder removes the scheduled notification. Permission for notifications can also be revoked in the device’s Settings. Uninstalling the app removes Daily Rosary’s local data. Because there is no account and no data stored on a server, there is no remote record to delete.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app, the website or legal requirements. The effective date at the top of the page will change when that happens.
